Kathy Manley was born in Norfolk, Virginia but raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She comes from a large family of 7 sisters and 4 brothers which has made her to be a very outspoken and self-motived individual, along with her determination of always reaching for more in life. After the loss of her husband, and only having the experience of a housewife for twenty years, she did not hesitate to jump into the workforce to finish rising her five daughters. One went on to obtain her master’s Degree, one went into the Military, two went into the workforce and the other daughter was born with a learning disability, however she overcame life’s obstacles and struggles due to her mother’s motto, quitting is not an option. Kathy attended Booker T. Washington High School, in Norfolk, Virginia. Where she graduated with an academic diploma. Afterwards she attended Kee’s Business College and majored in Accounting. She also attended ECTI receiving a certification in Nursing Assistant as well an Medication Technician. Coming from a family where her two grandparents devoted their entire life to serving the Lord, she received her calling from God in 1983 which she then adhered to the call. She went on to receive her ordination as an ordained Evangelist in 1985 in Norfolk, Virginia by Daniel H. Gardner Sr., from The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. Upon relocating to North Carolina in 2007, she reconfirmed her calling being licensed once again as an Evangelist, by Everette Silver Sr. from Dunamis Outreach Ministries.
