Despite a larger emphasis on youth ministry than ever before, more than half of Christian youth still leave church as they form their adult identities. They begin to see Christianity as childish, naive, insular, and defensive. By leaving Christianity, they think that they will enter maturity. But that couldn't be further from the truth.

At Last Days Harvest, we believe that Christian maturity is the best, truest, most beautiful way to be human. No worldview is better, no question is too hard, and no experience is too complex for our faith. For that reason, our goal is to offer deep Christian adulthood fearlessly to youth while they set new trajectories for the rest of their lives.

What if youth could see that glory clearly while they set new adult identities? What if becoming an adult in our communities meant aspiring to Christian maturity too? If we believe that Christianity is true and that God loves our youth perfectly, then we must offer them Christian adulthood fearlessly.

At Last Days Harvest, we show youth that Christianity contains the whole world, and that it offers incomparable freedom, meaning, and life. We usher them into a community of Christian adults that stretches through history. We invite them in.

The Children Church is an integral part of the adult church.  It is established to expose the children to all the provisions of grace, enable them to have the basic Christian experiences and assist them to live victorious Christian lives in readiness for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Our programs and activities are aimed at evangelizing, teaching and disciplining the children for Jesus; training them up in the way of the Lord and equipping them to win their world for Christ. Our F.I.Y.A, Fresh Inspired Youth Anointed services are geared to help our youth moved forward in Christ and church service Because they are the church of the future as well as NOW!!!

Jesus declared, I was in prison and nobody visited me.  Oh what a sad commentary, having to wear that label.  Pastor Parker has been active with Prison Fellowship Inc. and Angel Tree Project(a by product of Prison Fellowship Inc.), every year for over 20 years.  Many children in Pitt, Greene, Lenoir and Martin Counties have over the years been blessed at Christmas time through Last Days Harvest Prison Outreach.  Pastor Parker travels as far as New Jersey and Philadelphia to participate in various programs when it comes to those who are incarcerated.  Pastor Parker also is a favorite speaker at the "Fathers Day Service" held annually at Pamlico Correctional Facility in Hyde County, NC. Too may times the children of prisoners serve the same sentence their parents serve and they have been neithed charge or convicted of no crime. Will you join us in helping these children. Every 4th Tuesday of the month, Pastor Parker has his War on Debt Class. Learning the practical priniciples of giving and receiving and saving according to scripture and our walk with God is essential. We must first learn that nothing truly belongs to us , its all God. In this class the believer will learn the character of a good steward and everything it takes to win the war on debt. The student will be required to understand and practice that Gods provision will dictate the belivers proportion. And that the elimination of debt is tied to obedience and discipline.  Stewardship is often given a very narrow definition, focusing only on the management of money. But it is infinitely more than that. It encompasses virtually every part of life. It is the wise, purposeful management of all that we have and all that we are. To understand stewardship is to grasp the essence of life’s meaning. To practice stewardship is to fulfill that meaning in a way that pleases God and satisfies the most profound human longing. EVERY 45 SECONDS AMERICA LOSES ANOTHER MARRIAGE

P.E.A.C.E. - PURSUING EXCELLENCE AND COMMUNICATING EFFECTIVELY  MARRIAGE CLASS meets every 3rd Sunday at 2:30 PM.  We are so excited that as couples we have created an opportunity for married members to come together and help one another.  This is a once a month enhancement.  Jesus declared unto Peter "When thou art converted, strengthen thy brother".  Every marriage counts, every home counts and every family counts.  Whatever experience we can share with each other only enhances the marriages. We are definitely our brothers keepers.  We are living at a time when the concept of biblical marriage is under attack. We know and understand who is behind the attacks.  Our goal is to help, through knowledge and communication to hold the family together.
