Senior Pastor: Dr. Calvin L. Parker was born in Greenville North Carolina to the late Daniel Jason Parker and Naomi Best Parker. He was reared in the West part of Greenville and as a young child he loved the Boys Club and sports. While matriculating through the Pitt County School System Pastor Parker excelled in what he like best, base-ball. It was in 1975 when the city of Greenville Knew Who he was after a series of No-Hitters put him in the papers and on the map. But it was Pastor Parker who would later testify that the only reason he could plav at the level he plaved was because of God. He was 12 when he one Friday night while sitting on the back row at church Bishop Wells said, whatever you ask God tonight he would do it. Unbeknownst to anyone else. He ask to be the best baseball player he could be. And in turn he told God if he did, he would always stay in the church. From that time on you found him in two places, the church and the ballfield. Pastor Parker was saved at an early age in 1973. Under the leadership of the late Bishop Wyoming Wells, having an unction from the Lord to preach the gospel, Pastor Parker received the baptism of the Holy Ghost on May 22, 1995, at 12:23 in the morning. In 2002, Pastor Parker founded Last Days Harvest Church of God in Christ. Bishop Leroy Jackson Woolard, Jurisdictional Prelate of Greater North Carolina ordained him Pastor in February 2002. An avid fan of ministry, Pastor Parker believes that if God has gifted you--whether male or female, that your gift is needed in the local church. He encourages all to do more than just occupy a seat, but to get involved in ministry!
Under Pastor Parker, P.E.A.C.E Married Couples Ministry is setting the standard in a world here marriase is being challenged every day.
After Graduating from Rose High School in 1978, Pastor Parker would further his education at Winston Salem State University. After leaving Winston- Salem State University.
Pastor Parker would later further his studies in the field of Non- Profit Management at N.C State University in 2011 and That road also put him at Duke University for the summer of 2014, with the goal of getting his M.P.A. Pastor Parker is currently A National Auditor as an Accountant employed by Intuit Inc and has his own accounting firm. Pastor Parker is also A Justice Ambassador for Prison Fellowship International, lobbying Congress State Representatives for justice reform. On August 20th, 2023, Pastor Parker received his Degree of Doctor of Ministry from Mount Olivet Bible Institute & Seminary of Canada after 3 years of hard work.
